Update your profile
Is your directory listing on the TORCH website
current? Log into the site with the email where you receive our updates and make sure your potential clients have all the details they need to choose you over the competition. Update your profile here!
Here's how to check:
- Preferred Vendors: Check under the appropriate "Preferred Vendors (location)" link in the menu. (If your membership is in the statewide organization, select that option. If you are a member only in the local chapter, please select the appropriate chapter.)
- Facilities: Check under the "Find A Home" link in the menu, or click here.
If your business is not listed,
- hover over your name at the top right of the screen.
- click "Profile"
- click "Member Search" in the Personal Info section
- check your Visibility setting at the top of the General Info section.
- Fill in any additional info you want included, and click [Save].
- Go back to your profile (steps 1 & 2)
- Click "Business Directory" in the Personal Info section.
- Ensure that your business name is accurate.
- Preferred Vendors:
- In the box at the top, choose "Preferred Vendors/Service Providers-location"
- choose your industry/category
- click the [Add] button.
- Facility owners, follow the same procedure, but choose the categories and types you want searchable (i.e. your facility type, number of beds, etc.), and click the [Add] button for each one.
- Update all your contact information here that you would like listed in the Business Directory.
- NOTE: If you changed the address information, please click [Refresh Geocode], so that the Latitude and Longitude will be updated, and you will show up in the correct location on the map.
- Ensure that the "Show in Directory?" checkbox is checked.
- Be sure to click [Save].
